Starting QB Saturday is need to know only

Does anybody here really think that Clemson gives a öööö about who is starting? Clemson is working on making Clemson better this week.

Another insight that our coach thinks we are tons better than the rest of the world knows we are.
We are doing it to hide it from Clemson. We are doing it because it is none of Clemson's damn business

I don't think Dabo prepares his team thinking like that.
He is preparing our offense. Our QB's are not vastly different. It isn't like preparing for a wildcat QB vs a pocket passer.

This is what I was thinking. Sims is a bit more of a running threat, but Yates is no slouch (he was recruited for the option). Yates is better at the check down, but Sims threw a lot of those passes last year.

I think Tech has a better chance with keeping it to within four scores with Yates; seems less prone to making mistakes.
I wanna see one or the other run the play that beat UGAg in the natty.

Interesting that he's still wearing the brace.
Yeah this would almost certainly confirm he's not playing on Saturday right? He's not going to be playing with his left arm locked at a 20°angle, and I would think he would spend this week with no brace getting back into the motions if he were expected to play. Yates will start.

Or maybe that's what they WANT you to think. CGC playing some Jedi mind tricks.

Sims is much more of a running threat that Yates. Not even close.

Making your QB practice with one arm leading up to a huge road game would definitely be tricky haha

It would make catching shotgun snaps an adventure

But is he enough different to change your gameplan, especially with a team like Clemson? Their LB and safeties can run with either of our QB.

No, not really. Sims doesn't require a spy on defense.

My worry is if Sims starts they're gonna stack the box and get enough possessions to hang another 70+ on us. I don't care if Yates ends up being a checkdown king I just want a game manager that demands respect with his decision making and execution on the quick plays
