Dook offense now rated 104th!!!!

I've got a question: why is it that you, and people just like you, enjoy making ööööing excuses for this sorry ass coach? This guy clearly knows a lot about how to talk to kids, and that's a very good thing. But he knows absolutely NOTHING about how to coach a football team. That much is very clear by what we've seen on the football field to date. Show me how I'm wrong. Jesus ööööing Christ....
I’ve got a question for you.. why don’t you have jj on ignore

I understand we have had 2 full Collins recruiting classes. I understand we have to build our lines and LB's. I understand we have already managed to get a 4* QB and a 4* RB. I understand you are an idiot who hopes for Collins to fail so you can pat your dumbass on the back.

You can go out and buy a turbo charger to boost horsepower. You can swap out the exhaust system for a little extra umpfff. You can install all the cold-air intakes you want... it all helps. But if you're pouring sugar in the gas tank while you do it, well then you're not gonna get very far, are you? But you'll have a lot of good excuses, am i rite?

And it takes longer to build an OL and DL than it does to get a few skill players. Obvious for anyone outside an idiot like you. Obviously we need multiple recruiting classes of OL and DL to be able to stock starters AND backups. Pitt was an excellent example of depth on both lines. 4 RS Seniors and 1 RS JR on the OL who have had time to gel as a team. Behind them a 5th year senior QB. Do we have any of that on our team? Nope.

However, morons like you just want to ööööcan our coach, despite our improved recruiting, and got to ???? öööö, I don't know. You're smart, who are we ööööcanning Collins to get? Bring CPJ back? Hire Bohannon and just become Kennesaw State south?

And you're a mental midget who thinks that waving gold pom-poms while watching our coaching staff literally öööö up every single decision they make -- before, during, and after the game -- somehow propels you to some higher plane of existence on the fandom scale. Of course it takes time to build a competitive program. My issue is that I don't believe our HC, our OC, or our DC have any idea how to run a football team, even if they inherited the freaking Chiefs.

So, I suggest you either raise the funds and have our coach fired and replaced with a coach you feel knows how to run a football team or just STFU already. All you do is whine and pull against GT.

And they didn't inherit the Chiefs. They inherited the worst P5 roster in college football.

All I do is whine and pull against GT? öööö you. No, mother öööö you. You can go öööö yourself. You have no ööööing idea how hard it is to even attend Georgia Tech. I worked my ass off to graduate from that school, and I will not accept the trash coaching we get today from my alma mater. What the öööö do you know about attending GT, asshole? Just because I'm unhappy with the mistakes of the program does not mean I'm rooting against them. What a ööööing piece of öööö comment. You can be a real dick on this board, but I never really thought negatively of you. I definitely do now.

I don't give a single öööö how hard you "worked" to graduate. I'd wipe my ass with your ööööing degree, moron. "Ohhh....I GRADUATED from Georgia Tech...fire our coach....whaaaa". Pussy. Big ööööing deal. I do know you do nothing but whine about our staff, including whining about a victory over Duke because you hate our head coach and actively seek for him to fail. So kiss my ass. You don't impress me and I seriously doubt you impress anyone else with your constant crybabying

You obviously don't watch a lot of CFB, if you did it should jump out on whatever screen you are watching that both lines of scrimmage that GT has are woefully inadequate for the P5 Level.

Simply watch the Line Play for talented Teams and you'll see a chasm between theirs and ours.

There are no magical Coaching strategies nor magical play calls that can overcome weak, lower echelon Talent on both lines.

Just because we change HCs, doesn't mean that there isn't "lead time" involved in changing the minds of Recruits, this is an Area where factories have a huge advantage, when they make changes, the mindset of Recruits is not a variable because they deliver "Bags" & Ford F-150s (or Dodge Chargers) to get Recruits interested.

Your perspective is flawed because you aren't able to look thru the Eyes of a typical Recruit.

For a typical Recruit, 11 years of GT FB playing in a undesirable system has a much bigger impact, in their minds from the Time they were 2nd Graders until they were HS Seniors GT FB was never taken seriously, to them that is virtually their entire Life.

It will take time and I'm surprised that CGC has done as good as he has Recruiting wise.

CGC is trying to Recruit Players that for as long as they have had knowledge of CFB, GT was seen as a sideshow gimmick that gave Recruits a much harder path to the NFL that is already hard, even if you do get Recruited by a factory.

Think of it like a Boxing Match, what you do the 6 mos leading up to a Championship Fight is much more important than any "coaching" that you can do when the Fighter is sitting on a stool between Rounds, at that point it is very unlikely that "coaching" is going to change the outcome of that Fight, either your Guy is Talented or not, either he is ready or not.

Same with FB, the week leading up to the Game and the Talent on your Roster determines if you win, very, very rarely do magical Playcalls during a Game differentiate between winning & losing.

Simply put, at this level all coaches have competed and filtered up the Ranks and know how to call Plays, the difference usually comes down to overall Talent level and then Talent Level at key positions like QB and interior Linemen.

Case study - Ed Orgeron:

Did he forget how to call Plays so quickly?

He seemed to be a Genius just a short while ago when he had 4 - 1st rounders , one of them being the #1 overall pick at a key position -- QB, in all they had 14 players drafted off that Title Team, they had another 10 guys sign UDFA Deals, in all they ended up with around 20 Guys off of 1 Team that were good enough to end up on an NFL Practice Squad or on an Active Roster, and that doesn't count future NFL Players didn't declare that year or were Sophs. that got Playing Time.

Now Orgeron is out of a Job and people think he's an idiot.

Explain how his "coaching & genius play calling" left him so quickly?

The short answer is his Talent level changed, no more Heisman QB, no more loaded Roster, Talent Level made him look like Genius and elevated his pay from $5million to $9million per yr, as soon as his Talent waned so did the effectiveness of his genius play-calling.

To quote former NY Giant HC Jim Fassell - "there are no Geniuses in the Coaching Profession, basically we're a bunch of PE Majors coaching other PE Majors"

wait, you think you’re only Tech grad on here? When did you get out? Was it back in the day when the faculty was trying to flunk people out? Otherwise stfu about how hard it is to graduate. BTW most Tech grads are rational and work to identify and understand why things work and why they don’t and understand that corrections can take some time. I’ll also say that anyone who didn’t expect it to take some time to adjust the roster and gain experience to change from the 3O and be successful with the type of offense we want to play. If you didn’t you’re simply an idiot.

Can you stop spending so much time on this site and finish Song of Fire & Ice please, George?

I apologize to everyone (except JJ, he can still go öööö himself) for my grown man crying episode yesterday. I was visited slightly earlier than normal by the Bourbon Fairy yesterday.

If you are correct, then Paul Johnson must be one heck of a coach. Took the worst P5 roster in football and won 6 games.
