Juanyeh gone…

FEI Defense

Roof
13 - 62
14 - 58
15 - 48
16 - 66
17 - 47

Woody
18 - 102 (juanyeh's FR year)

C******
19 - 93
20 - 88
21 - 111

We're twice as bad as the leaky Roof defense. Juanyeh has been pretty good, but ultimately our defense has collapsed.

Correcting these issues is literally the coaches’ job.

Of course we all would have loved for him to have played better, but you’ve called him lazy multiple times on this board, including only a few minutes before he ran the 2 pt conversion attempt back 100 yds and looked like he was going to die from exhaustion on the field.

What’s the point in ööööting on this kid now, for deciding to transfer? What the öööö does he owe us now, anyway?
First of all during the live game threads MULTIPLE FONTS said the same exact things that he took plays off and stopped hustling, the Pitt Game was one of those Games.

Maybe if he hadn't been on cruise control for the drive leading up to the TD, there wouldn't have been a 2pt Conv. attempt.

Would you guys learn how to simply watch the Games and be honest about what you see.

Why does everyone blindly assume every player “gives his all” and “blood sweat and tears” and all that?
It's dedicating enough of your time and effort to be on the field for an FBS football team, relative to sitting at home on your ass and complaining that the guy on the field didn't make you feel happy as frequently as you're sure he should have. All, or close enough to make no difference compared to the ridiculous bullshit in this thread.

If the above were true, then no one should have ever criticized our QBs, both Sims & Yates.

Why is brutal honesty OK when talking about QBs, but not Safeties?

I just saw a lot of times this year when I didn’t think the players were really “giving their all.” Sorry.

Juanyeh seemed to have so much potential when he was younger. Watching him run past all those UGA players in that clip makes it all the more perplexing that UGA's tall white TE was able to run through our secondary without getting his jersey dirty on Saturday. What happened, Juanyeh?

Seems like the entire secondary got a step slower, not just Juanyeh. I wonder if our strength & conditioning routine is dorking something up.

I mean I get it, we sucked and I am sure we'll get plenty more mileage out of it for memes and jokes. But en route to making that one, I think you missed the point for the sake of starting the Semantics chapter of Holy öööö What A Nightmare. Was That Real? Did I Drink All These? Whose Blood Is This? Oh God Oh öööö Oh My God: The Story of the 2021 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

Think what you want. Doesn’t make you right b

Next time I'll just say "player who gave their effort to one degree or another for Tech which is obviously entirely subjective and hardly worth dissecting at this point but I don't want anyone thinking I might be giving a guy the benefit of the doubt just because he played for Tech or risk any pointless tangential arguments over the fairness of my phrasing."

Rolls right off the tongue with nearly the same ease as your mom.

Juanyeh was so much better in 2018 with Nate Woody than he ever was with Collins or Thacker. It’s amazing that the dude claiming rebuild is going to create an even bigger one than he took over.
Yep. Looking back I think Woody was probably a good DC who was hamstrung by our overall talent level (not including Juanyeh). Curious how he's been doing since...
