For the chaser, use the old BCS computer system to figure out the best 4.

Should really be conference champs only. The five P5 champs plus one non P5 champion. (Not sure best way to determine that, highest rated I guess but not big fan of that). Can give top 2 a bye.

Would essentially make it 11 team playoff (5 conference championship play in games plus the one non P5 team)

Still have some kinks to work out but you shouldn't be national champion if you're not your conference champ.

If ND was a full member of the ACC they would be playing in the ACC championship game tonight, wouldn’t they?
If they won the ACC, they should / could jump UGA and make the playoffs. It seems like their decision cost them.
