or maybe this kid was a freshman and the other 2 had some more experience and since he wasn't ready they decided to redshirt him
I don't see any reason to badmouth him.
Not badmouthing him, he has a college Track record, that includes getting beat out by Hendon Hooker and Joe Milton that were very pedestrian at their first Colleges, VaTech and Michigan.
I'm not a Fan of "Backup QB Savior Complex", a syndrome where whoever the other Guy is gets accolades like, " as soon as Bailey steps on campus he's the best passer in the Program"
Bailey wasn't 2nd String, he was 3rd String at Tennessee, I judge him based in his resume and not some fantasized version of what hasn't happened at Tennessee.
The amazing thing is that I never read posts that say, "we'll be so much better with the 3rd String LT from Tennessee, can't wait til he enrolls.
