Yeah, gives us a second QB with experience in a power 5 system and a guy you wouldn't need to change the playbook much for if he needs to come in. Since it's must-win this year, I don't think you can afford to be thin anywhere and we've got the schollies to give. So I like the move, as well.

Sounds like more of a long term option. After the Soroka saga, I am scared of Achilles injuries.
The nice thing about the incoming portal transfers is that they are limited on future transfer options.
If Key cannot fix the OL, none of our QB's can succeed.

He tore his Achilles in Spring of 2021, recovered and played in the Fall of 2021. I'm sure that hindered his ability some last fall but I doubt it will be a factor now.

His player comparability is Lamar Jackson. IDK how reliable that is, but that's pretty good if he turns into him.

I've been doubtful that we could surpass the three win mark in 2022, but more and more I am getting the sneaking suspicion that we are going to btfo Clemson and win the ACC and maybe the national title. Georgia will likely disband their program before the end of this year.
