Please learn one lesson going forward. Don’t fit mid-season. Grin and bear it. The least little success by the interim and you end up hiring the wrong person.

I suppose there are different ways to qualify or quantify bad performances, but just from the standpoint of being competitive against bad non-P5 opponents, this is about as bad as I can remember since that MTSU game. We certainly had blowout losses to some mediocre ACC teams, but the non-P5 losses were generally close games (though games we had no business losing, of course). Maybe the 24-2 loss to Temple, but that team had way more talent than this Bowling Green team.

Who was the right person? Not saying Key is awesome because clearly these results speak for themselves. But who was turning this around instantly?

I don't recall us giving up 38 straight points to a team like BG at any point in my watching GT football.

In the end, it’s 1 bad game in a rebuilding year. GT was a 5, 6 max win team. I’ll give CBK 1 more year in 2024 to show his impact.
