OL Elias Cloy and DT Bryson Dixon in the portal now as well.
 
I wonder if KK was just tired of the academic rigors of GT? Not saying he couldn't make it, but maybe just tired of the grind. :dunno:

On3 has us currently favored or neck and neck to get several DL with good playing experience.

Jack Barton Senior (Furman) DE 6'4 264 5.5 sacks in PT past 2 seasons. Local Kid who has good size and seemingly possibly good on Edge run defender with a little big of rushing ability

Ty French Senior (Gardner-Webb) DE 6'3 232 16.5 sacks past 2 seasons. Local Kids who maybe looking similar to K.White a bigger stage to try and show off his skills

Daylan Dotson Junior (UT-Martin Skyhawks) DE 6'3 255 14 sacks past 2 seasons Local kid see Ty French logic above

Quindarius Dunnigan Junior (Middle Tennessee State)DE 6'3 235 5.5 Sacks in past 2 seasons

Leon Lowery Soph (Syracuse) LB 6'4 239 One of the better LBs with PT in portal right now

Dre Butler Senior (Mich. State) DT 6'5 300 Good PT as rotational player in college career 100% GT expected
 
There are about as many 5 stars as there are NFL first round draft picks in any given year. If someone is a legit 5-star they would be stupid to play any more than 3 years of CFB. Therefore, they would be stupid to wait on anybody's bench.

This might actually work to diminish the factories depth. They have to decide whether to take every highest rated player they can or have 2 tiers where some will stay awhile and be content to come off the bench as backups for a couple of years.

It may make some of the higher rated HS talent decide it's better to go somewhere they can start immediately rather than wait for a year or two and end up having to enter the portal.
 
There has to be some stud players in the portal wanting a free trip to Ireland

Not going to happen. You see five stars signing every year, when the whole world knows they will be sitting behind an established starter. I don’t know what they’re promised?
