Portal guys enroll for the spring semester so the only guys that can play for their new teams are bowl games after spring semester starts. So none of our guys.

We did show the base 4-3 late in the year and it definitely helped us more in stopping the run for sure. I've always argued that we should run this defensively. Certainly you can go to the 4-2-5 in clear passing situations but the 4-3 is tried and true. We had issues with the front four filling gaps this year. 3 LBs helps. With the kinds of kids we're honing in on 6'2" and taller with long wingspans and over 220lbs bodes well for us in the future.

From what I read, lightsey was getting some snaps his true freshman year then was injured sometime this past season and pulled a redshirt. Seeing the field at all as a true freshman on the stacked defense provides some solid reassurance that this will be one of our better transfers.
