2024 Transfer Portal

Did any of our players who have entered the portal play in the bowl game?
 
Noticed ET and Jason Moore credited with tackles on stat line. That seems to be it unless someone got in on ST.

Ewers is going back to Texas next year and is the starting QB. From all accounts Manning is perfectly fine in Austin.

Good news! When Camden Co Coach Jeff Herron says he’s one of the best running backs he’s ever coached then we want him. He is listed at 198 on the roster so I believe he’ll play at 200-205 which is about the same size as Dontae. We still need that 220 bruiser.
 
I do not doubt Felix's talent. If he could hold on to the football he would already be playing.

I am not saying we don't want him. My question is does the team want him back? The last RB that went in the portal and came back ended up leaving later anyway. GT has been pursuing other options to fill his spot. Rather have a guy that wants to be here. Just because player tweets that he is leaving the portal does not mean he has been invited back.

No one knows the whole story when it comes to why kids go into and back out of the Portal. There are a lot of kids who th8nk the grass is greener and find out it’s not. There’s also the percentage of kids urged to go into the Portal.

My guess is he did not get the interest he thought he would get, and CBK and staff recognize his talent and let him stay.

But we’ll also see what happens during the Spring portal after Spring practice.
 
announcing that you're going to the portal is akin to throwing your resume out there to see if you can better your job/pay

just maybe want to see if there are any takers...

One thing about Jamal and Dontae is they held onto the ball. We had to rank near the top in fewest fumbles lost.

His post seemed sincere enough. I doubt any of our team will hold anything against him.

Meh, maybe. It’s a solid room. There’s also a portal window after spring practice so we’ll see where everybody shakes out. He can play, though, if he holds onto the ball.
