How is it much different than Kyle McCord? Ryan Day processed him to the Portal after going 12-1. Which based on the Cotton Bowl was a mistake on Day’s part.

I thought McCord was younger than he was. But King has some injury intrigue and coaching changes around him. I do think his situation is more of the classic transfer that we would’ve seen even before the era of the portal. I’m not sure McCord’s is. King’s story is a little like Joe Burrow although I guess he was a grad transfer.
