A thread about uga

Love that it's going national and that the Bowles actually released it to the media before she did to the school, thus preventing another coverup. One would think that at some point the Univ pres would say, "Enough is enough; this is all damaging the reputation of the school as a whole," and then step in and do something about it, namely firing some people.
This ain’t Northwestern.

UGA football program is going to create much more positive PR, and revenue than this story will cost them. In reality, all of the lawsuits will get settled out of court. Checks will be cut, and not disclosure agreements will be in every deal.

I sure hope you are wrong

Fixer’s twitter account had been silent since a few days after crash. Now it is shutdown. How is this not being noticed?

Even Forbes Magazine is reporting on it now. I was able to read it for free, and even post a comment, so I assume everybody can ---
It’s just a Terrance Moore op-ed; so basically it’s AJC fodder. I doubt Forbes editorial board actually cares.
Anyone halfway credentialed in their field can publish op-eds on Forbes FWIW.

Bill Curry’s summation was pretty spot on imo; no surprise there.

According to the mutts: nothing to see here -- move along -- reporter is the problem, not our culture !!!!!!!!

So typical of people who obviously have something to hide. Remind you of certain politicians by any chance? LOL

If they spent as much time working to clear up the mess there as they spent smearing the man who wrote the article, then maybe they would be able to actually accomplish something. They have earned and deserve every bit of negative press they get. And the idea of quoting someone who is obviously in on the coverup as a proper rebuttal is laughable. Why wouldn't that Morgan County traffic clerk
deny working with Gantt to cover things up? She is complicit in it all herself and to do otherwise than deny it would incriminate her as well. I think Fleischer's response to the mutt powers was a perfect response.

Lol. So the Rivals guy published a full of the record conversation. A real pro journalist.

I thought UT was a sacred cow. How did ESPN allow this investigation to even happen?

wonder what UGa promised the uga rivals guy in exchange for this story. This really smells like "hey, we've got the goods on that guy and we'll give them to you if you promise to a write a story that makes him look bad, and we'll give you some exclusives down the line in return."

UT paid Darnell Washington and he still signed with the dogs. It is reasonable to assume the dogs paid him more. Where is the NCAA?

Does it even matter whether UGA gave him money too? I thought if an NCAA student-athlete takes straight-up payments, they are ineligible. And if you play games with an ineligible player, you must vacate those games. Yes, players can be paid via NIL now, but it has to be within that framework.
