Doubt we would medical him for a 5th year. Feel bad he only got to play basically one year. I really do wonder what happened to him.

Honestly I like it a lot, because you can allow more players to feel like starters, and also make it clear to other players that they are not ready to contribute yet and will either need to get more experience, up their game, or go somewhere else.

I am willing to give this philosophy the benefit of the doubt but if it turns into a Paul Hewitt substitution for no reason strategy, I will complain.

this is what most coaches do... especially say, on the OL. "Getting the best 5" is a saying... it means even if a guy is a better tackle than a guard, he's still a better guard thn the next guard, so you play him at G. same with a lot of DBs.
 
I'll be interested to see how many traffic cops we have on the sideline to manage the flow. Hope it's not the same ones outside Peters Park after the game.

I think of the BTL along the lines I remember O'Leary supposedly told a player, "If you find yourself actually in the game, immediately call a timeout as somebody has screwed up."

I don't think this will affect substitution at all. We rotated in a similar number of players in the past, just using different verbiage.

I heard this, too, when CGC talked about "value above replacement." Really got me curious how they measure that.
 
So three more quarters of "where the hell is James Graham?" followed by one quarter of actual James Graham?

This is correct. CGC will not name starters for an upcoming game.
 
Using an ATL doesn't seem to completely jive with competition is King it seems.
