PAC imploding
That’s a good conference. My conference would be Clemson, Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Georgia, FSU, Florida, Ohio State, Kentucky, UNC, and Duke.
I'm not so sure. SEC's biggest targets will be Clemson and FSU. UNC and UVa would be their next choices because they'd rather have the primary universities in each state. I don't know that NC State and VT would really be the schools they want. Although talk about failing upward. Imagine NC State and VT in the SEC. They would both likely instantly improve.
Looking at everyone's "dream conference" most people want regional opponents made up of some current combination of the SEC and ACC. Sounds logical and ideal. We can dream I guess.
I seem to recall Penn State was seriously considering it at some point.
Just for sh*ts and giggles, if you could pick your "dream" conference, what 12 teams would you pick and why? Why 12 teams? I don't know. Anything more than 12 teams in a conference just seems stupid to me. It's not really a conference in my mind over 12. It becomes more of a loose confederation of some sort. More like an association. An affiliation of sort.
If you don't play all conference members every year, it's not really a conference to me.
I really think these giant "super-conferences" are going to eventually collapse under their own weight. The sooner the better.
Except sub the Bigger 12. We can play Central Fla every year along with a redux with Kansas StateGood. Let them spend their $ to break it up, and we'll waltz right on over to the B10 with 5 of these programs.
Bigger 12Wonder which conference is going to be playing the snow white to these 7 dwarfs
Dallas would be better than Atl.I hope we do. öööö Clemson and FSU and the rest of them ööööers.
I wouldn't mind Michigan, Ohio State, Southern Cal, UCLA, Wisconsin, Iowa, or Nebraska rolling into town. Maybe Notre Dame will be there too.
Plus, helps the BIG10 middle finger the SEC being in Atlanta. Maybe we could force the SEC title game from the state because of the new BIG10 footprint. Move that ööööer to Dallas.
Howza bout 52k?Any school that consistently sells out an 80k+ stadium is attractive to the SEC.
Anyone saying otherwise is just experiencing some wishful thinking.
