From a strictly brand representation point of view anyone that hates on this deal is an idiot. Scrolling through the list of schools Adidas supports you see they are almost all old school traditionalists, and Adidas doesn't usually create color vomit alternate uniforms. That is exactly what the fanbase has been clamoring for with Russell for years. This is a huge win in driving a consistent brand on the field. Love it. I hope the dollars and cents make it even better.

I got a tour a few years ago of their design facility where they do custom measuring and development of individualized equipment for pro athletes. Lots of high tech materials and kinesiology applied.

My newest pair of shoes for the gym are Adidas. They were by much more comfortable than the Nikes I was comparing them to.
