He gave credible examples of why for each, and they made sense. I thought blaming the present coach/scheme/recruiting for something not happening 30 years from now was silly, but the author recognized, and so should we Tech fans, the game has changed. We always were a long shot, but the present system does, indeed, lock us out for the foreseeable future. Seismic changes would be needed for us to win an ACC championship anytime soon. Hell, I'd just like to be competitive with Duke and Virginia again. Some one said a one loss ACC champion would always make the final four. No way if that one loss champ was Georgia Tech. But this is so much pie in the sky for us. We are struggling to compete in our division, much less on the national scene. It sucks, but it is what it is.
