Looks nice to me
We aren’t a high schoolAll 16 Cobb County High Schools play on artificial turf. Costs were estimated $550-600k. They have a 10 year life cycle (installed in 2010 and being replaced this year.)
All 14 Fulton HSs have artificial turf as well.
Neither are all the NFL teams using it. Not the Big 10 teams. Oregon and several Big 12 schools. It isn't just high schools using itWe aren’t a high school
This feels very AAC of us.
Those teams don’t need turf at all. Freaking Penn state and Iowa State have beautiful grass fields. If they can do it anybody canNeither are all the NFL teams using it. Not the Big 10 teams. Oregon and several Big 12 schools. It isn't just high schools using it
Miami absolutely needs it. Tennessee needs it too. The grass in Neyland is awful because of all the shade the tall stadium casts.
If it increases revenue and is a plus for recruiting, then I will get onboard. Players may want to play somewhere with consistent footing, across all positions.
Just don't turn it into a billboard for Shaw Industries on the playing field
Miami doesn't? That field is shit. Tennessee is so tall, taller than Penn State, that it is pretty shitty up close late season. Those teams don’t need turf at all. Freaking Penn state and Iowa State have beautiful grass fields. If they can do it anybody can
More than that, I wonder if there is a difference in heat on the field. The players were complaining about their feet burning at Tulane.
I said there is no reason why the can’t have a great grass field like Iowa State and Penn state. Those teams don’t “Need” a turf field.Miami doesn't? That field is öööö. Tennessee is so tall, taller than Penn State, that it is pretty ööööty up close late season.
Folks thinking the players are more important than the fans buying the tickets.
When you don't get enough sun on it and it becomes a quagmire like Miami something needs to be done. They can't grow grass there because the place is practically a domed stadium.I said there is no reason why the can’t have a great grass field like Iowa State and Penn state. No, Stansbury signed an agreement that their hedges would never be touched again, at least by our players. I will still tear them up next time to extend my collection from 2014 and 2016.We can still tear up the hedges every other year but they can't eat our field anymore, so that's good I guess
Agreement? They are an invasive plant, like damn kudzuNo, Stansbury signed an agreement that their hedges would never be touched again, at least by our players. I will still tear them up next time to extend my collection from 2014 and 2016.
Get over it or offer to pay for the upkeep of the natural turf. This is more sad than the music they blare at games, every chance they get.
This is more sad than selling out our home games to MBS.
This is more sad than the 50 uniform combinations we use, despite having a couple of classics.
This is more sad than having to get Tech gear custom made, because almost nothing offered is ever right.
I could go on, but what's the use? Nobody listens.
Going back to turf on Grant Field is sacrilegious, and it's making me physically ill.
That is all, carry on.
They actually use artificial lighting like many European stadiums and it helped Miami’s stadium last yearWhen you don't get enough sun on it and it becomes a quagmire like Miami something needs to be done. They can't grow grass there because the place is practically a domed stadium.
