Benson Update?

Did I say beating South Florida would get us to the Orange Bowl, asshole? Benson would have made a huge difference in the game. USF was having difficulty bringing him down. Stop being such a ööööing pussy for 10 seconds of your pathetic life

So we would have scored more often and KOed more to them, or at least put their O back on the field?

We are one of the few teams, if any, that has had this scenario become a negative.

If our O can just stay on the field without scoring - we got a chance!

Dean Smith’s version of 4 corners in football?

Yea, Benson looked awful dragging dudes for 8 yards every time he touched the ball
I noticed that too somewhat. One good thing about Benson that I don't see in any of our other RB's is that it takes absolutely wrapping him up to stop him. It seems he always gets +3 yards after initial contact.

No, I think their defense crumbles with Benson running. He is clearly the better back, nothing against Mason. Benson runs with a lower pad level and dishes out the hits.

Yep, stays low. Keeps churning. We really need him.

Ok JJacket, sumthin is up here, you have been making much too much sense lately!? You been taking some good shiete or what? Or am I confusing you with another JJ?

I’m not a doctor, but having taking a hit like Benson did and still walk without crutches or braces it screams MCL/ PCL type of deal
Yeah when I saw it, I was thinking PCL. PCL isnt as common as others (by itself) as it is usually torn along with other ligaments as it is very strong. Big hits to the knee, especially below the kneecap with the knee in a bent condition can tear it. If it is a PCL, the recovery is quicker than acl and others. Grade 1 and 2 tears don't usually require surgery and would not be a huge hit. Grade 3 are complete tears and could require surgery.

I had a grade 1 (maybe 2) PCL year last year skiing. Apart from taking it easy, I just iced it and was back to 100% a month later. I know skiing isnt football but its some sort of frame of reference.

I pray and hope it is nothing. We need him in there.
