So Tech hasn't been to a bowl game under Coach Skinny Pants. So what?

Bowl games do not matter. Only the BCS games matter.

Players check out of bowl games on the regular. Now we have a whole team bailing on one of the "better" bowls (yeah, I know they're using the Wuhan Chinese Flu as an excuse, but please!).

So the fact that Tech hasn't made a worthless bowl game the past three years does not matter. If they never make a bowl game ever again it does not matter. 9-3 matters. 10-2 matters. 6-6 and a worthless bowl game . . . the worthless bowl game does not matter.

Prove me wrong.

Because they don't exist.
It's the College Football Playoff (CFP).

Pretty easy to prove you wrong. BCS games don't exist and haven't for years.

By that logic the UGA game doesn't matter since it doesn't affect our ACC title chances. Don't be that guy.

I think the players get treated pretty well at bowl games so I think they enjoy it. The fans get to travel to a destination and make a mini vacation out of it. The host city probably benefits economically… so what is wrong with bowl games? Had you rather be looking forward to Tech playing a bowl game against South Carolina or sitting their butts at home like they are doing now?
 
What I do t understand is if bowl games don’t matter, than why do end of the season games matter either? Or any game after you lose one or are eliminated from the play offs.
 
Bowl games = payday. The better the bowl the better the payday and that matters. With the NIL rule change I also heard players can get cash with their bowl gift packs now, I don't know if that is occurring yet but it will also matter for the future.
 
You what bowl game doesnt matter? The Hawaii Bowl. Cause it was just cancelled.
