There is no logical reason to test anyone who has no symptoms.
The question to be asked is "would any of these teams opted out if they were in the playoffs?"
Absolutely not.
Oh I believe Miami definitely used Covid as a crutch for not playing in El Pasouga, for example, isn't testing either vaccinated or asymptomatic players. And their vax rate is 99 percent. I imagine Bama is the same.

Miami should be required to compensate El Paso for the lost revenue and exposure. These teams should be banned from future bowl appearances.Oh I believe Miami definitely used Covid as a crutch for not playing in El Paso
Yep. Miami was not allowed by the ACC to decline the bowl, but managed to dig up a positive test right before the commitment deadline for travel. They should have to compensate all involved. Miami now believes they are the next great dynasty, just like they have believed it every coaching change since joining the ACC. "Just because we are in your league, doesn't mean you are in ours" was what their shirts said their first ACC visit to BDS. They think they are back BAYBEEEEE.....not playing in any bowl but playoffs now.Miami should be required to compensate El Paso for the lost revenue and exposure. Together, North Carolina and Miami produce more than 65% of delusion in the ACC. The difference is that usually North Carolina fans keep their bizarre roleplaying between themselves, even if it is in public. Miami fans go out of their way at every opportunity to declare that the journey BACK is nearly at an end, after a mere two decades of failure in that effort and with little or no evidence whatsoever to support their certainty.Yep. They beat one of our worst teams by 3 this season and somehow, Cristobal is their savoirTogether, North Carolina and Miami produce more than 65% of delusion in the ACC. öööö them. öööö Carolina, öööö Miami, öööö the ACC, öööö that little girl, öööö them all. Hope the only positive thing to happen to any of them is an HIV test.
Has Miami returned tickets for bowls in the past? Their travel expenses would be covered. The payouts for everyone are going to be lower this year because of these ACC teams opting out, so we're all losing money on the table.Yeah, they probably lose money by playing and they are in the middle of a coaching change. Very easy to find some covid cases right now if you really want to.
BCS games are not college football. So Tech hasn't been to a bowl game under Coach Skinny Pants. So what?
Bowl games do not matter. Only the BCS games matter.
Players check out of bowl games on the regular. Now we have a whole team bailing on one of the "better" bowls (yeah, I know they're using the Wuhan Chinese Flu as an excuse, but please!).
So the fact that Tech hasn't made a worthless bowl game the past three years does not matter. If they never make a bowl game ever again it does not matter. 9-3 matters. 10-2 matters. 6-6 and a worthless bowl game . . . the worthless bowl game does not matter.
Prove me wrong.
El Paso should compensate the US for being a ööööty city.Miami should be required to compensate El Paso for the lost revenue and exposure. These teams should be banned from future bowl appearances.
You probably get your picante sauce from New York City.El Paso should compensate the US for being a ööööty city.
Marty Robbins disagrees.El Paso should compensate the US for being a ööööty city.
Wow wasn’t aware El Paso was a major picante sauce producing city. Tell me more, like how many gallons per day they produce or how many people they employ. You probably get your picante sauce from New York City.
The picante sauce industry across New Mexico employs anywhere from 500k to 1.2 million people and adds a GDP of $1.1 billion to the local economies in NM, which is greater than the entire GDP of Mississippi and roughly equal to what your mom earned in porn (adjusted 1985 dollars), but sadly snorted away. Sad if you weren't there, that is, and I was there . The '80's baby!Wow wasn’t aware El Paso was a major picante sauce producing city. Someone should tell the El Pasoans to move to New Mexico. Sounds like quite the opportunity to cash in.The picante sauce industry across New Mexico employs anywhere from 500k to 1.2 million people and adds a GDP of $1.1 billion to the local economies in NM, which is greater than the entire GDP of Mississippi and roughly equal to what your mom earned in porn (adjusted 1985 dollars), but sadly snorted away. BTW, picante sauce isn't measured in gallons, it is measured in pounds, like your mom.
