I agree with you. But you’re not looking at the politics in this.

Holiday, Duke’s Mayo Bowl on paper are better. But the Holiday Bowl lost its luster when the P12 all but folded. Duke’s Mayo Bowl is not passing up an NC team unless that team is named Clemson.

Pop-Tarts Bowl is Miami. Gator Bowl is Syracuse. Both deserve those spots.

The remainder of the bowls are going to pick geographic ACC teams outside of the Sun Bowl. UofL slots into the Sun Bowl at 8-4 with a win over GT.

GT going to B-Ham was pretty much set in stone once GT beat Miami.
