Bowl Projection

If we go by logic (and the fact GT usually takes it from the ACC office) here are my predictions:

Pop-Tarts Bowl: Miami
Duke’s Mayo Bowl: Duke
Gator Bowl: Syracuse
Pinstripe Bowl: NCSU* (If UofL is in the Sun Bowl)
Fenway Bowl: BC
Military Bowl: VT
ReliaQuest Bowl: Pitt (should be GT)
Sun Bowl: UofL* Reportedly.
Holiday Bowl: Cal vs Wazzou
Gaspirella Bowl: UNC
Birmingham Bowl: GT

Birmingham against Oklahoma is a chance to blowout the team who kept Alabama out of the CFP.

I just don't want Army, wherever. An ultimate lose-lose type of thing.
Plus they refused to play us when we were running the spread option - hopping on the stupid myth that playing us was dangerous to their players.
It was a real wussy move from a place that doesn’t have many wussies
I’m sure the football team and the cadets were embarrassed by that move by West Points administrators

Didn’t that lead to have us schedule Gardner Webb as a last minute replacement?

Sun already announced Louisville, I think.

I could imagine the bowl execs being all hot and heavy for it too "Army coach used to be at GT (15 years ago)?! What a compelling story!"

This will sound dumb. But no one will ever remember that Army was good or Tulane was good if we beat (or lose) them. I want a game against a “name brand” team. A couple years from now, it’ll still look good that we mopped up Oklahoma or Florida even if they suck now. In particular, I’d selfishly love Oklahoma. I have a friend who is a CFB elitist (went to, now works for, OU) and I’d love nothing more than a second rate program to beat the blue out of his blood.

Why is that dumb? It’s like this every year. Give me anyone in the SEC or B1G.

My dad and two of my uncles went to OU so I’ve grown up watching them. I would absolutely love to play them because that’s a very winnable game against a name brand opponent and I could talk smack to my family for the first time ever since OU and GT have never played each other in football, surprisingly enough.
