I understand the thinking, but I don't think he's a good fit anymore for Tech, plus he'll probably hold out for a bigger factory job as per the Alabama coordinator to HC path. We could do worse I guess.

We need to get George O'Leary away from this next hire ASAP. He was a fantastic one of a kind coach here, but man is he bad at picking head coaching hires (similar to basketball and the Charlotte hornets with MJ picking staff/players).

Let someone else pick for the love of God. If we are going to fire TStan for the hire, then we should not allow Coach O'Leary to decide/give input on the next one.

7-8 wins at GT is near high reward and in the current college football environment, it might be our ceiling except maybe 1 out 10 years.

For something to change we need a $100M endowment for coaches and a $50M for NIL.

You're slightly underselling the value that getting us back to competitiveness would bring. I want to win a natty next year too but at this point we're fighting to stay in a power conference lol
