7-8 wins a year is by no means a “low reward” in the current landscape of CFB. GT refuses to spend half of what the programs do around the SE, yet fans expect GT to be a perennial 8-10 win program? Come on……I think this next search will show exactly how GT is perceived by the coaching market. And if the school does not do their part and want to help the new staff, GT will continue to toil as a 3-7 win program.

The fact that a committee of academic assholes have to meet to decide the fate of our FB Coach is everything that’s wrong with GT athletics. I’m sure a meeting of intellects with little to no athletic experience will provide relevant jurisprudence over a P5 athletic program in today’s time. Long live the intellectual eggheads…we’re screwed.

They’re meeting to discuss the fate of TStan. He reports to a board and that board has to fire him, which means they have to meet.

Great…thanks for the clarification. Do you have any confidence in this group to make decisions for the best interests of GT athletics in today’s time? I certainly don’t.

The sports program answers to the school, not the other way around. And certainly not to double digit IQ anti-education drivethrough window experts like you. You give sidewalk fans a rotten name, douchebag. Go öööö yourself.

In my experience with boards, if they’re having an emergency meeting, there are enough votes to fire him.

What happens is the chair calls the members (or gets calls from them) and determines that the votes are there for a firing. Then the executive committee meets in secret and makes the recommendation for an unscheduled meeting of the full committee. Then the full meeting is a formality.
 
Well, let's look at Stansburys last decision - extending this charade another week thinking the results would be different. Yeah, that's another quality decision by our AD. You're fired.

They do not. And worse, they do not care that GT's revenue sports are dumpster fires.
