No prob dude. I said this in my other post, but just for reiteration I think Butch Davis is an excellent, top tier college football coach. I am just taking out my anger on these boards because that play action on 4th and 1 really pised me off.

Kicking a FG is a world apart from passing for the endzone. I would've been fine with them kicking a FG in that situation. When an FG is pretty much sure points, you don't need the points, and a pass may or may not get a first down (on FOURTH DOWN) then you kick a FG when you're up by that much. Throwing for the endzone is a d-bag move.

The guy is throwing passes to their #1 receiver when they had the game well in their own hands. I sure as heck hope CPJ remembers this game and we will beat the living crap out of this team next year. I officially HATE UNC now. HATE them. Moreso Butch "run up the score" Davis.

Like I said, considering how they were beating us with the ground game (186 yards), I didn't see anything wrong with them passing. If anything it gave us an advantage because we are normally a INT-happy team and incomplete passes would have meant no time lost.

It isn't whining. This is the problem. I wasn't whining or bitching or crying about it. I find it classless. I wasn't calling for official reprimand. I think throwing for the end zone in that position is classless, regardless of who does it. That's not me screaming or bitching. It's me stating my opinion.

You don't find it classless. That's good. Great, even. But you can't leave it there. For whatever reason, you have to throw on top of it that somehow I'm whining, weak and pathetic. I could come out and say that I find your response to paint you as a condescending asshole just looking to insult someone for whatever reason you happen to see fit. But I didn't because I'm not here to get into a cat fight with you.

If you were capable of disagreeing without throwing insults in on top of it, this wouldn't even be happening. People will jump on and insult other coaches for things far less important than trying to run up a score (Weight, religion, antics) but nobody tells them that they're whiny and weak. I remember Steve Spurrier being beaten badly by somebody in SEC when he coached at UF. He said STTE of "I guess I can't blame someone for finally doing that to me."

I can understand passing when you're up big when you have backups in and they need gametime practice. Chan should not have only let our backups run when they were in. But passing to your #1 WR to get him a school record is just dumb.
