:laugher: You're ridiculous and you refuse to see the point.
Isn't it your job to make sure I see your point?
I'll try one last time but you clearly have no interest in anything other than finding a way to be right.
There is no right or wrong. These are opinions. I don't need to be right, nor do I need you to agree with me.
You don't need to come out and say the most inflammatory version of your opinion simply because you can.
Believe me, it's not even
close to the most inflammatory version I could think of.
There are a handful of people here who are incapable of saying something without throwing themselves into the whole "There's my opinion. What, you don't like it? Aw, I'm sorry I hurt your feelings, Francis." act. Somehow, there are still people like you on the internet that believe the "Did I hurt your feelings?" line is humorous, pointed or original.
Whereas using a bright yellow laughing emoticon in order to try and belittle another poster is incredibly original, persuasive, and effective. I mean come on. Nothing anybody does on an internet forum is original. I didn't sit down with PhotoShop and design that crying girl emoticon and you didn't invent the smiley-face. As for argumentation, Plato pretty much invented everything that hadn't been thought of before. Don't act like you're some message board trail-blazer.
I'm talking about the simple, common sense action of having a normal conversation with people without feeling the urge to insult them because you disagree with them. If the most polite form of your opinion is that someone who believes running up the score to be classless is whiny, pathetic and weak then there's a you problem and I give up.
Sigh. I guess I just shouldn't have shared my opinion. But, my opinion is that any complaint, in any form, about running up the score is whiny and weak and pathetic.
I don't even know a nice way to say that. Can you give me an example of a nice way to say that? Not that I need to adjust the way I express myself to accomodate everyone, but I am curious.
But right now you're being a dick
Awww, now was that the nicest way you could say that?
and you just won't tolerate being told that you can't be an asshole while you express your opinion.
Nobody should ever tolerate having their speech regulated. Also, was "asshole" the nicest way you could have said that? Oops, are you being [gasp!]
inflammatory!?
If you want to continue your charade, then go ahead - I'm done with you. But it's a lot more fun to spend your free time on a board with people when you're not trying to play the tough guy with a keyboard.
I don't know what you're talking about. I mean, was I pointing a gun at your head and asking you if you feel lucky, punk? Was I karate-chopping through ice bricks? Was I head-butting the wall? What does "tough guy" have to do with it? In fact, it's hard to think of anything less tough than calmly typing....
I'm just a simple guy with a simple opinion: Complaints about "running up the score" are weak and pathetic.
This is football. If you don't want to be scored on, stop it.
