If Cabrera really didn't take questions because he didn't have time, that would be a bad look.

But that's almost certainly not what happened. Most likely the only questions he would get would be tough questions on finances and how we're going to hire the next coach.

Those are questions that need to be answered, but not publicly right now. Right now the public focus is how we move forward in the short term because we still have a lot of games left this season and recruits and commits who will be watching.

I expect Cabrera to speak frankly about how he is going to help the AA succeed long term at some point, hopefully sooner rather than later. But I don't expect a detailed Q&A from him at a press conference where the main purpose is to introduce the interim coach just one day after the previous coach was fired.
