Blackburn landed awkwardly today and tweaked something. Had to be helped off but was putting weight on his leg by the time they got to the locker room. Hoping it's nothing serious.

I remember unloading on Kelly a while back in a lengthy savage diatribe. He did something annoying (and IMO unprofessional) and I probably went off in the defense of a player or something. It sounded personal but was not really personal as it was caricature, but my attitude was if you want to dish it out on twitter in your official capacity you better be able to take it where you are not even invited.

That's a strange take, his press conferences, interviews, and really all public appearances hyping the program have been by far his best attribute so far.

Fair take. My issue up to now has been the excessive use of superlatives and buzzwords - it just didn't come off as "real" as much as "here is the storyline".

This presser was real. And genuine. What has me excited is that I am pretty sure we are about to open - not a can - but a 55 gallon drum of whoopass on college football this year. Maybe I'm imputing my bias into my interpretation but CGC has the demeanor of a guy who knows he's about to kick somebody's ass that he's been waiting for.

We'll see but what I saw today is very different than what I saw last year and before.
