Camp is in Session

Not trying to speak for the OP, but I took it to mean that GC's pressers are usually full of cliches and buzzwords and tend to get repetitive. I think this is more the norm among coaches but we were spoiled for years since CPJ tended to be more blunt.
Spoiled? CPJ was good at deflecting failure. It was never his system, just the players poorly executing his system

Man that seems loud

I can understand having the noise during some scrimmage situations or if there isn't a need for focused coaching, but when it comes time to instruct players properly, that shit needs cut out.

CPJ was repetitive as hell too. It’s what coaches do because they get asked the same questions constantly.

Some of our fans just liked PJ’s dry smartass-ish delivery more so that what GC brings, which is the total opposite.

You should watch it. We have the ball for like 45 minutes or something
Running QB sweeps like 45 times for 6 yards a pop will do that haha. I remember when he went in against USF and they had him doing the sweeps. He had perfected the footwork to fall in right behind the "pulling" Aback.

Exactly. CGC's pressers before this year were "here is what we are going to become" over and over - I'd almost rather listen to reruns of Phil Swift talking about Flex Seal.

This year, its "here is who we are and this is what we are gonna do." Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch better.

This better?

Is it me or is Key nodding and grinning like a Cheshire cat when his Beasts drive those poor tackling dummies back 5 yards?

Also, freeze the vid at the moment the guys hit the pads. I find the difference in pad level interesting.

They don't teach during practice.

We are a developmental program. We do not hold practices in order to ingrain bad habits. Some people who do not like our program go to great lengths.

So if a player uses the incorrect technique during practice, be it a QB, WR, DE, OL....whatever, our coaches just shrug their shoulders and move along?
Stopping to teach takes away from reps. Reps are valued over everything else. Mistakes are reviewed and corrected in film session/position group meetings. There's very little on field coaching during practice.

Collins seems to have recognized how stupid that was and has made a change this year.

Read between the lines of Thacker's quote from the spring.

Or we can read the verbatims...

“I hate to use the word ‘calmness’ because it wasn’t a calm practice,” Thacker said. “But just the ability to teach and coach more and go at a slower pace,
