Camp is in Session

Working Jordan Williams some at LG seems to indicate Kirby is probably one of the “best 5” they want to see on the field. It wouldn’t be surprising for someone with that much experience and prior accolades. They’re always stressing position flexibility. The OL has rather quickly switched from a glaring weakness to a strength. Couple that with our outstanding RBs and (if they’re smart) we should only be throwing 30%-40% of the time.

So basically same as last year? We ran it 59% last year even with being down so often.

Record for sacks allowed in a season. Incoming.

This is why the OL as a whole works as a unit. DEs are just faster than OTs and are going to win a 1 on 1 most of the time. Knowing the play call makes all the difference. Sometimes you let the DE take himself out of the play or only protect through the lane that matters. I imagine Dominick was demonstrating a technique. Isn’t that Knight running the drill. Dominick is a hell of a player though. The proper take would have been “record for sacks in a season. Incoming.”

Lol. Percentage wise, sure. We ran better than threw last year as well. Running game should be even better this year with OL improvement. Penalties kill the running game and we’ve put a huge emphasis on fixing that. I’m also expecting a bit more conservative, high percentage pass game largely utilizing Gibbs and McGowan’s YAC skills.

It's reasonably likely that Kirby is in the best 5 OL, but cross-training guys in your top-5 is a no-brainer either way. We may be deeper at tackle and yet lose a guard or two during the season. In that case, Williams could slide over to guard and not have to pull a guard with a bigger drop off.

A large dildo roaming the field is just weird.

It helps if the qb can recognize defenses and put us in a play' pre-snap, that has a chance to succeed
