Catch Me Up?

The sad fact is that Geoff Collins has done more for other schools recruiting and depth than he has for ours. There's not a single "touted" recruit that has come on campus and stayed. Instead they went to a school where their talent could be nurtured, developed and insure a pay day for Sundays.

85% of the jerkoffs on here are like "F-- Gibbs" and why? Because he's smarter than they are at 19? Because he saw a sinking ship and dove off to swim to shore? What about Ivey? or his parents dealing with the obnoxious dbags on here that boo their son instead of the staff.

Ibeeballin is the perfect example of a Collins blow hard and Go Ga Tech has a Christmas wish list with Collins remaining he's stamped for Santa.

We're a joke and the fact remains until a complete overhaul is done, we'll remain one.

Time to call the pot exactly what it is. And the fans that don't aren't fans. They're astronauts somehow surviving on Pluto
Gibbs is a pussy

You’d blow collins to have him running on campus again

Everyone on here talking öööö about him would

Period. Enjoy the good ol fashioned hummer tossing
do you see my profile pic I know what I want and collins isn't it if we win then that changes things

There was no law saying it but continuing to run it would just be punishing ourselves and put us deeper into that hole. Most everybody saw the writing on the wall and was ready to move on from the option. Rules are being made yearly that highly affect the blocking schemes used in option offenses. Even before that, the gap was growing considerably larger the last few years between GT and our opponents in terms of talent. That gap was never going to close if we continued to run the option, and it got to the point that we were being so physically out-manned by teams on our schedule that our scheme wasn't enough to overcome it. Folks can say all they want about CPJ not getting the support or the money he needed to recruit better but it's a 100% fact that several of our top recruits over the last couple cycles flat out said they would not have considered GT if we were still running the option. That is a real thing. Don't get me wrong, I loved CPJ, was thrilled when we hired him and knew he could be successful at this level, but I honestly thought that once he proved he could be successful that the recruiting would pick back up and not suffer the way it has. For as much good as he did for the program, the wins we got, big bowl wins, ACC championship, etc., it's still entirely possible to say that going to the option set us back 5+ years as a program because at some point we were going to go away from it.
The point is we could have transitioned over several years as we recruit to a different scheme instead of putting a square peg in a round hole.

Lol. Well I’m a fan of pussy so I’d love to have that talent. Just don’t blame the kid for leaving when the staff sucks and we’d rather plug OL instead of developing them

If he had a line and something to play for and with it’d be different story. The kid is good. If he doesn’t pan out at bama. So be it

It was talent wasted here and probably was close to a freak injury

We tried and it didn’t work. A lot of amnesia in here

And may have lost just as many games. You cannot hire a guy and ask him to bridge the gap between his wacky predecessor and the Normal coach you want to replace him with.
Especially when his predecessor won 80 games for us and this current moron can't muster his 1st yr success over 3 seasons.

Idiot
