Catchall Deion Sanders Thread

They're adults, not kids. This hatchet job isn't anything different than Tennesse did a couple years ago and others since. I'm not a Sanders fan (as a coach), but it's still a business. I was against him for Tech. It makes me wonder how this board would be melting down if he had done it here. Or would it?
Geoffrey Giraffe brought in sooo much talent he obviously would not need to do that here.

how long before all the LV toters figure out that this is all about dieon and they bolt after a year?

I'm assuming that the extra oo's makes your post sarcastic. The thing is that Dorrell won fewer games than Collins (8 to 9). His interim went 1-6, while our was 4-4. So, maybe we did have more talent.

Do you think we have enough talent that Deion wouldn't want to kick a significant portion of our roster to the curb also? Most of the actual talent that goof brought in turned around and walked right back out the door within a year or two.

There’s wins and losses, and then there are wins and losses. Prime needs to win some, but above all he needs to show that he isn’t continuing or has created more of a clown show. Losing some games as a first year coach isn’t all that bad so long as people can see the vision he has for the program. If it looks like a disorganized mess of top to bottom incompetence, his welcome will be short.

Remember, he just came from a league where most of the fans care more about winning halftime than the game. It’s a completely different level of scrutiny for coaches at the P5 level.

Deion needs to go to a bowl, or at least at least 5 wins with a marquee win against someone in the top 20. It's not so much about fans; but making players outside Colorado believe there is a reason to go to Colorado. If he has <4 win season, that luggage he had coming is going to get lost by the airlines. There just aren't that many 4 & 5 star players that will choose a losing Colorado over a winning SEC or even a winning ACC program even if it means playing for Kiffin or Norvell instead of Prime Time.

Deion running off players has nothing to do with NIL. This is a heck of a hot take.

Running off players who are delivering is one thing. Running off players aren't any good is called making a cut. It's been a thing since junior varsity.

How the hell is Colorado going to win a national championship this season with 3* portal transfers? Can't believe people are that dumb.

It's not a question of if he's relatively likely, but is he more likely than 1 in 25,000? The payout is pretty good and betters are speculating he's likely enough to somehow flip the apple cart of the CFB landscape that it's a worthy risk.

I'd put $10 on it if I gambled, even though I think this will be a traim wreck. I find it more likely he has a 2nd purge in year 2 and some of the LV luggage gets lost to much griping by the media who pushed for NIL. Followed by Deion leaving when Shedeur's eligibility is up.

+25000 actually means its only 250 to 1

"The Wall" for women is undefeated.

So is the Blue-Chip Ratio in college football. TCU got all the way to the final game, but the BCR still stands.
