It's such a cuck take... We don't want him because he'll leave us... Even if he makes us millions of fans and money and wins championshipsHe hasn’t left yet

I didn't want Salma Hayek for the exact same reason. It is how I ended up with that rotten ööööing crypt keeper as wife #2.It's such a cuck take... We don't want him because he'll leave us... Even if he makes us millions of fans and money and wins championships
He has certainly gotten Colorado into the news. He had a lot of people attend a spring game. He hasn’t won a game yet, so the jury is still out as to whether the risk was worth it.It's such a cuck take... We don't want him because he'll leave us... You obviously don’t understand the take. He’s not making anyone Colorado fans. He’s bringing in Prime fans. As soon as he’s gone, they will be too. They are about to deal with something far worse than the option losers who followed Johnson here and cared only about the option and Johnson (this is not a knock on Johnson). We also don’t know if he will win any championships. If he does, I’ll admit I’m wrong. I see his approach causing a lot of division and strife within the program with him saying öööö it as soon as his son’s eligibility is expended and moving on to something else. Again, I could be wrong and I’ll admit it if I am.It's such a cuck take... We don't want him because he'll leave us... Even if he makes us millions of fans and money and wins championships

Take a shot. If it blows up in your face, then Techman will be waiting in the wings to come in and try to get us 7-5 with a "respectable " showing against the hated rival.
@savbandjacket literally just said he could get us to the playoffs..I challenge you to find one person, literally one single post, that says, "I don't want Deion even though I think he will win us championships."
You won't find it because no one who wanted to pass on Deion thinks he will win championships at the P5 level.
@savbandjacket literally just said he could get us to the playoffs..
I didn’t say I think he would. In fact, I think it’s unlikely.@savbandjacket literally just said he could get us to the playoffs..
Hell no. Tech took a flier on some dude I never heard of until reports came out about him interviewing for the job. Then everyone fell all over themselves trying to say he was the reason for the big Gailey class.Isn't that what just happened? We took a shot on the Minister of Mayhem, it blew up in our face, we lost a ton of fans and gameday revenue, and now we need to bring in someone to get us back to respectable while we rebuild our finances from the missed gamble.

Collins was a gamble alright. A poor, dumbass AD's version of Deion with weight lifting and people jumping around with money down signs on the sideline. You said take a gamble and if it blows up in your face then hire "techman" to get us back to a respectable record, right?
Well, with Collins we hired an unproven name who talked a big game and promised to completely change the way we did things. To me, that's a gamble. You call it a flier, but I'm not sure I see the difference -- in fact, I would say a flier is a type of gamble.
Regardless of the exact word used, I think we can all agree it was a risky hire that blew up in our faces. So based on what you said, now is the time to hire someone to get us back to respectable.
Otherwise you're not saying, "Take a gamble and if it blows up in your face you can always make a safe hire to get back to respectable", you're saying, "Take a gamble and if it blows up in your face double down with an even more expensive gamble."
i would think most athletes would rather live in boulder than say a place like nebraska or iowa or hell even college station for that matterThere are 133 FBS programs. Pitch me Colorado. Given what you know so far about the program and Deion Sanders, what are the reasons for an athlete with multiple offers, either as a transfer or HS prospect, to go to Smoulder? Er.. I mean Boulder.
So far I've heard, "He could win!", "He has inspired the fan base to show up for the spring game!", and uh.... ummmm.... "His son is a pretty good QB!"... and, uh, emmm...uhhhh....."Look what he did at Jackson State!!!!" ....and um, finally, uh.... "Hey look! It's DEION!!!! and he's wearing a cowboy hat!!!!"
I'm sure I'm missing something important that these prized college athletes are gonna see when thinking about visiting Smoulder, Colorado. One thing for certain, now that Deion has run off most of the roster, you will be very likely to get playing time. Lots of playing time.
i would also think that having thousands of fans is not a bad thing... everyone said he has not done anything yet but he has already made them money before even playing one game.. that is impressive to me
just dont understand how anyone could not want the hype for their own programObviously I'm most excited to see Tech next season, but Colorado is a really close second. That first game at TCU is going to be appointment viewing.
