That precise combo, yeah. But we have upperclassmen starting everywhere else I believe. Depending on who’s available at TE.

Edit - forgot Brown. So offense is pretty young. Defense is pretty old.

also Ezzard is a soph I’m pretty sure.
So your top two WR, QB, 3 of your RB‘S, two TE, and your RT are all freshman and sophomore.
Our dline has some young guys on it but the LB and Secondary are mostly upperclassmen.
If we can keep the kids together I believe our offense has a chance to be really good in the coming seasons.

But a good win is a good win.
This was a good win.
Good things tend to happen when you win the turnover battle.

Product on the field looked better tonight. Good to see adjustments. 3 turnovers helped.
 
I enjoyed seeing Geoff getting players focused for the next play on the sidelines rather than leading the hype patrol. I think a big indicator that there was solid coaching done over the last two weeks was our lack of penalties. There were many times our guys could have laid guys out with blind side blocks but we held back. Good job Geoff and co.
 
I will say this: When CGC instructed that the policy manual forbid "egg white only omelets", I had a small sip of gin and juice. these guys in the O-line and D-line, can gain a 10-20 pounds, and not bat an eye. Why? ....cuz they are in the late teens and early 20's. Bravo Coach Collins.
 
I’m not big on Patenaude... felt like there some play calls that prevented the team from getting into a rhythm. Felt very disjointed. When it is working it is great but then he repeats plays and does a lot of cute stuff in the red zone.
 
I’ll say this, I still don’t think we are a good team but we fixed are obvious issues during the bye week. Ptard did a good job of making sims not the focus of offense and getting it into the skill guys hands to make the play. He let the freshman settle into the game and had fans get pissed at his play calling/design. Fine.

Statistically, the d have up yards but got turnovers. Good. Chaos is good.

The whole game was boring to watch from the stands but adequate. Win is a win.
