Coaches Salaries

In fairness, you can sell the Wake degree also,a lot of doctors and lawyers come out of there
A lot of doctors and lawyers come out of a lot of places. Wake Forest is where you send your kid when he can't get into an Ivy League or John's Hopkins.

And an old man on a downhill slope
I remember her Cutcliffe being interviewed and asked about Georgia Tech and Paul Johnson. His response was something to the effect that Johnson cannot recruit enough good football players using his antiquated triple option system. And by golly Cutcliffe backed up his trash talk. He owned Paul Johnson’s teams with bigger, stronger and faster athletes even though they were wearing that Duke uniform.

I know, that really pissed me off

Cutcliffe's best ever team lost 38-14 to CPJ, overall Cutcliffe was 4-7 against CPJ. You guys are tripping about Cutcliffe owning someone.

If losing 2 in a row means you are owned....:scared:

4/5 + 1 more with that ööööty roster Collins inherited from CPJ

There was a clear difference in results between the first 7 seasons under Johnson, which were phenomenal, with the last 4 which were total dog öööö. The trajectory was a big issue, but when fans argue to defend Johnson they always bring up the glory years 1-7.

The fact with Cut is that he had won 4 of 5 in the end. I doubt any Tech Coach had ever lost 4 out of 5 to Duke before that. It was an embarrassing streak.

That said it is still pretty dumb assed to say Cut "owned" us.

So we needed to keep CPJ onboard to allow Cutcliffe to catch up?

I don't know if we've ever had a coach who could lose to last year's Duke team and it looks like this year's version of Duke isn't much better.

Well then prepare yourself because we are about to get "owned" by a big chunk of the ACC by your own stupid standard.
Like we were getting owned already with CPJ here? 1/8 against Miami, having lost 5 IAR and 3 IAR must give you the warm fuzzies.

Keep it up. We'll assess who we are "owned" by at the end of the season.
