I feel he's not getting invited. Inviting himself and other coaches feel sorry/guilty, so they let him come. sure little jiffy, you can come, just don't touch anything. reminds me of lane Kiffin's post game comments about feeling bad about running score up.

100%.These coaches aren’t inviting him. He’s just desperate to get back into football despite being untouchable, and the other coaches flat out pity him. After he invites himself, they probably interact with him before practice and remember he’s a huge douche and tell him to watch from the sidelines.
