Why? NBC is a direct competitor? There is one pro-ND commentator on ESPN--an ex-coach.

ESPN has to toe a fine line to make ND seem like a joke or in the downward trend but still a great program (bc in reality ESPN wants them to join the ACC in football or something similar)

TMZ last night said he did it to a girl too...

they also said Manti continued to lie about his girlfriend after learning about the hoax because he knew it would be a huge distraction for a team prepping for the National Championship.
