Expansion Rumors…

Actually, no. He never said that. Just how many more fans those teams might have if the ESPN bias wasn’t there over the years.
I guarantee you, no one living in Arizona, Colorado, Michigan, California, etc is a fan of Ole Miss, MSU, South Carolina, etc because of ESPN. But that’s fine if some people do.

And the flip side to that is, living in other parts of the country people complained about ACC bias when it comes to hoops due to Vitale, Bilas and ESPN. Do you agree with that during the 90’s through mid 2000’s?

It’s all perception when your league isn’t considered on top. When GT is no longer in the ACC, no one on here will care.

That is all fine. Just so long as the Dallas Cowboys can continue to play in the NFC East. and Indianapolis can continue in the AFC South.

Those are silly too. Maybe the start was having 11 teams in a conference with 10 in a name. They all should be forced to rename, perhaps ultimately we will end up something like...

The Southeastern Arctic Conference (SEAC)

Midwestern Coastal Conference (MWCC)

The Desert Rainforest Conference (DRC)

The Atlantic Rocky Mountain Conference (ARMC)

The Pacific Great Lakes Conference (PGLC)

The Deep South Glacier Conference (DSGC)

The Big 12-and-a-half-but-also-thirty Conference (B12.5B30)

ACC should change to From Sea to Shining Sea Conference (FSSSC)

It was NOT ACC bias.

It was DOOK bias.

Well, you really can’t guarantee that because there really are so many odd people in the world.

The ESPN “ACC hoops bias” was for the league overall, not just Dook. So it sure sounds familiar to what people claim ESPN does for the sec. You can’t have it both ways. Deny it for one, but believe it’s fact for the other.

It’s all personal belief without fact in the end regardless of how people felt about ACC hoops/sec football.
