Seither is coming back. We'll have Jackson Long back too who we haven't seen much of but the staff really likes.

We'll see. Folks mixed on the depth chart who've only got one season left sometimes don't risk another big injury and focus on school.

Yes he did. And Curry left Ross in a nice position, and CPJ left the clown in a good position. On the other hand, the clown left Key with a mess. B*** L***** (11-19) isn't on the list because he never made it to 31; but Ross left him in probably the best position.
BL left GOL a huge mess. I will call it the biggest rebuild in GT history, sorry Geoff.

I wonder how long before we have to worry about Batt leaving. He really seems to be making all the right moves -- hopefully donors/Cabrera can pony up to key him around for several more years.

What moves? Key wasn't first or second choice. CDS is looking like a bad hire thus far--no energy and recruiting has been meh thus far.

Maybe give Batt credit for getting Cabrera to pretend that the admin cares about GT athletics? Not sure if Batt pushed for the matching or Cabrera offered it.

Batt isn't terrible, but I doubt he is in danger of leaving in the next few years.

Spending the least amount of money in the ACC on a football coach who has taken us from the worst program in the conference to two straight bowls and multiple high profile wins.

Set up the Ireland game, which was a massive success for us from an exposure standpoint.

Multiple significant successful fundraising ventures. Including, as you said, getting a notoriously stingy admin to pony up.

Renegotiated the MBS contract Stansbury made to get us a bunch of guaranteed extra money next year.

Leading stadium renovation plans.

Brought several high profile performers to Helluva Block Party.

Chairman of the board of the college football Hall of Fame, which definitely brings cache and connections.

From an AD perspective I think he's done a large amount in a relatively short time period, and would be able to make a strong case for a higher profile school's job opening.
