This is my line of thinking too. If Sims injury is going to require him to stay off it, I would hope he can come back in 2-3 weeks and allow Pyron to keep his red-shirt. That is unless Pyron plays and lights it up, and he/his family are ok with burning his shirt.
I'd be fine if we have him play the next 4 games then just put Gibson out for the last game.
Against UGAg? You trying to get him killed? Of course, any QB we trot out for that game is getting killed, but him specifically?

Renfree was a McDonalds All American, or something along those lines. Chan was really hurt by Threet making the horrible career choice of going to play for his beloved Michigan, where he got royally screwed. He had some ööööing talent to hand off and throw the ball to here at GT and just wasn't smart enough, apparently, to see it. Instead, he went with the "I grew up a Michigan fan and parents have Michigan season tickets" track.
