I guess you didn’t watch any games last year. I don’t blame you.Haven't seen a team so poorly prepared to play since the B***L**** days.

This is laughable. If had hired Monken, we are chugging along right now. It may have been time for PJ to step down but it wasn’t time to change direction.
PJ couldn’t replace Monken as a morale/energy guy. Biggest loss from 2009 squad.Yes it was. Collins wasn't the right hire (clearly) but the TO was done. The team quit on PJ. They knew it sucked too
For the record, I'm in undergrad and I loved the option because we *gasp* actually scored points and won games.Paul Johnson was a really good football coach. He won everywhere he coached. His Orange Bowl win and his wins against Georgia, Clemson, Florida State, Virginia tech and Miami can not be diminished. GT was not winning before he came and they are not winning after he left. Bottom line he did better with Chan's players than Chan did and he diid better with his players than Collins is doing.
Hatred of the triple option is a generational thing. Millenials and younger hate it. Hate it. They would rather lose looking like everyone else than win with an offensive they were embarrassed of.
Georgia Tech does not have to run the triple option to be competitive but they do have to have a coach who is an offensive outlier like Johnson, Briles or Leach. Collins isn't close to being that guy.
The Geoff Collins era ended today. It’s going to be a 2 year lame duck after
That was more a reflection on the character of the players than the character of CPJ. These Gen Z kids are a different breed of soft/entitled.You PJ worshipers forget the team quitting on him during that pathetic motor city bowl.

No he wouldn't have. The TO was DOA here, thankfully. No one but you wanted to watch that crap. No kids wanted to play in itI said it was the right time for CPJ to go but wasn’t necessarily the right time to abandon the system. Monken would have kept us in a system that differentiated us but with more variety and also would have brought fire and enthusiasm that I think CPJ had lost.
I’ll take 6 over 3. We will crater after a couple bad years.
The program has cratered now. More new lows on the way. Next week will be bad.
