Gold Facemasks

I don't know about current equipment, but the face masks used to be formed from metal rods with either a powder coating or polymer coating over the metal bars. Used to manage a coating powder business and there is some art to formulating colors when it comes to an exact match (although our candy apple red coating looked sweet on the rims we coated before somebody stole them).
 
We should wear our practice uniforms every single week until we start winning ööööing games. They they could have a fashion show and let the fans vote on 2 uniforms to wear next season.

We are kind of starting to look like a very cheesy program with all of the fashion shit

Yea fans care more about fashion, colors, uniforms, adididas than the actual game itself. I agree!

Cmon! The gold would look great on the white helmets, and we need white facemasks on our gold ones!!
 
I'm an old timer that likes tradition. It's hard for me to think like an 18 year old.
But I like winning games more than tradition. If an 18 year old 4-star recruit thinks that gold face mask is cool and it helps bring him to The Flats, I'm all for it!

Really? Then I stand corrected – but I'm surprised to hear it, considering how widespread white facemasks are. I wonder why we haven't used them before.

Hey man, I'm no old man. I'm in my twenties. And after last week I prefer to enjoy progress and winning over how good our uniform looks. It doesn't matter how good we look in fashion if we look like crap playing. We wont remember how awesome those uniforms looked last week over the remembrance of how awful of a loss it was. I love talking about uniform stuff but last week changed somethings for me.
