GT Fan Experience Enhancements

Y’all... it was a type-0. They meant to say un-hancements.

We need to create the Georgia Tech Tech Man's Man Blog For Men. Our fan base is in dire need.

We can have some guest blogger ladies come in and describe how they manage to attend games without carrying their purse. It will be very useful to some people.

That being said, I don’t agree with banning bags. Especially diaper bags for the kiddos. Just have separate lines for people that insist on bringing bags and have more express lines for folks that leave their bags at home.

For that short, brief window of years when we could bring outside food and drink into Grant Field, it was glorious... I could finally enjoy my we-don't-sell-smalls-on-gameday frosted orange without having to worry if I didn't finish it before I got to the stadium.

This is indeed Stansbury's first misstep.

She sounds like she hasn't had an experience enhancement in a while. Someone should help her out

Hopefully, Stansbury will come back out and say "sorry, we've heard your concerns. We will allow the season ticket clear bag holder policy to continue as before. GT police attempts to paint season ticket holders as if they are potential terrorists with clear bags was overstepping . I apologize for the ruckus. Please, please buy season tix. I know UGAg killed us at home AND played for a national title so, instead of making retart policies discouraging our fans from coming to games, I will actively work to make our sports teams better and attending our games to be more fan friendly. No, we are not an NFL team - nor should we aspire to be one by copying their stupid policies"

Really, he stepped in it. He needs to clean the shit off the bottom of his shoe, take a step back, reevaluate, get rid of the employee who suggested we all dorkily carry water bottles around, and reverse policy. Then, REALLY listen to fans concerns instead of pretending like someone wanted these not enhancements in our fanbase.

Don't forget most parking lots will not accept cash. You have to buy your spot on the app and let them scan it for entry.. 'so that we don't have to worry about cash shrinkage'

Banning outside food is dumb but at least understandable. Banning sealed outside water is stupid. Stansbury ööööed up big time by letting this one go through. Take your free water bottle and shove it right up your gailey.

Quite frankly, it is so ööööing hot for September nooners/afternooners that I can completely understand why anyone that doesn't have an unhealthy obsession with the team would want to minimize their time in the stands. Bringing in water made a YUGE improvement in the gameday experience, the single best improvement I can think of in my ~15 years of Tech fandom. I literally fill my bag full of 1 bottle of suncscreen and as many waters as can fit. Last season a gate guard made fun of me, asking if I needed that much. My season ticket group drank the whole bag (not sunscreen) during the first quarter.

If you want to raise more money, crack down on liquor and sell beer. I will gladly fork over an additional $24/game for two beers. Allow outside water.

I also see the nerds and olds on here bitching about women (rightfully) bitching about this change, then bitching about a blog post that points out that this change sucks for women. You guys are a bunch of coits. You all need to figure out what is worth bitching about (bad gameday experience, poor customer acquisition strategy) and what isn't (WHY ISNT MY CHECK CASHED IMMEDIATELY??).
