How long does it take to install an Offense?

Didn't take Johnson very long

I think he's got to win at least 7 and no embarrassing losses

100-0 can't happen again

If 7 is the bar, it'll either be a fun season with a much improved team/program, or we go hunting for (hopefully) a big time head coach. Either way, memorable year.

I don't think any "big time" head coach is coming here. We're not that attractive and don't have the money to pay all that much.

Closest to a big name we could get is Mullen. And even he is probably out of reach.

Probably correct. But 6 won't be sufficient for Geff to keep his job.
I hope this is correct. He needs to win big or move on.
6 to keep his job, IMO. Tough schedule. 8 wins for ACC COTY.
There are 4 new coaches in the ACC Coastal: Duke, Miami, UVA and VT. It’s as easy a schedule as we could hope for.

I don't think his offense is conceptually that different from Uncle Dave's, so they are building on what they know and adding terminology, not starting from scratch. In this case, one off-season ought to do it.
Maybe but asking sims to do different things like one check and run. Gotta get rid of the ball quick.

I remember watching PJ’s first spring game and thinking it was going to be a depressing season. It seemed like we fumbled every other play.

But by week 1, we looked like we knew what we were doing (even though we didn’t know much and still fumbled a good bit).

So I think it depends on the discipline of the players.

I'd support hiring Mullen. Just think he's likely bound for another lower tier SEC program
I would’ve said this before his nosedive at Florida. Why do you think that happened?
