I’m still mad and I will never get over this

Just checking in. Still irate. I have been in a legitimate bad mood for the past 3.5 days now with no end in sight. It's quite the experience to go to bed angry and wake up angrier.

So, a little therapy is in order...

- It wasn't PI.
- PI shouldn't be called when it's so borderline and has a huge impact on a game. Even if the ref thought it was PI, it was at best a close call, and such a penalty shouldn't be called on a 4th down near the goal line. You're taking the game out of the players' hands.
- The point of the PI rule is to prevent a defender from unfairly interfering with a receiver's ability to catch the ball. The reason the receiver didn't catch it is he was totally covered for his whole route, and the ball got batted down in front of him, not that the defender unfairly impeded him from trying to make a catch. In other words, what is the ref imagining would've happened if not for this phantom PI? The receiver would've magically cut back toward the line of scrimmage to get in front of the defender's hand???
- It was tipped so the PI rules shouldn't apply. But really that's not the worst part of the call.

It’s been 7 days. Disgust has turned to the fires of hate. I’ve heard nothing but compliments from non-dwags fans… we won hearts and minds with this game. The days are counting down to MBS 2025. All hell will be let loose, and I for one will purchase no fewer than six tickets. I’ll gladly burn 4 of them in the face of Georgia fans rather than open them up to any fucking mutts and their Walmart regalia. Let’s fucking go.

This is actually a good idea. I will be unable to attend I think…I maaaaay try to swing it, but Batt should have a ticket purchase and donation drive for us out of towners to ensure Jacket fans fill the stadium. And he should use the events of the game to fuel the purchases. I would even support a ticket drive for students to attend because I’m not sure how the student section will work for this one.

You should email this suggestion, it is a great one. We really have won over a lot of neutral parties. So many people I work with who aren’t uga fans were appalled at the officiating and outcome.
 
For the record, I am still pissed but it is more hate and disgust for the athens team. F* those pussies. Last Saturday I doubled my Tech Way contribution. Today I doubled it again. I have gotten two of my Tech alum friends to 1) increase and 2) start donating to Tech Way. I have been spam texting all my buddies from GT who I tailgated with. I am trying to talk one into season ticks even tho he lives out of town. i effing hate athens school. I am drink.

thank you! its so competitive we took zero for granted. but she has the resume and works so hard. around the clock.

i told her tonight that if you had told me the day i graduated in 97' that i would have a daughter get in to GT i would not have believed it.

we have another warming up in bullpen. youngest daughter is in middle school. she wants to go to GT as well.

when she found out tonight she opened her online application and it started raining Buzz's. we went berserk!

i don't know if its possible to win a game by losing it .. but we very well may have with this one.
 
You don’t get over it. You hold the hate hot all year, you do whatever you can for the program, and next year you actually show up in greater numbers than the dwags at mbs and watch Tech beat them like a red and black headed step child. This program has risen from its ashes and we’re on the verge of greatness.

Another thing I’ll add is this. We obviously have the money judging by the way we’ve recruited this year. Who would have thought? They make paying recruits legal and all of a sudden we have a more level playing field. Believe in Brent Key. Do whatever you can and there’s no reason next year top 20 doesn’t become top 10 class.
 
Also at the COFH tailgate next year no uga fans are allowed. I don’t care if it’s your uncle, your childhood friend, your wife, girl you’re trying to smash, your 100 year old grandmother, one of those he’s a uga fan but he’s cool types or a kid from make a wish foundation. They’re getting cussed out and kicked the fuck out.
