VPI's defense was smaller than Clempsen's, USF's, Pittsburgh, and Duke's.With the push our O-Line got against VPI, I'd imagine that TQM would have moved the ball too. Oliver just seemed like a was a slippery runner, where Marshall is a race horse.
Hmmmm, trust the geniuses on a message board with no experience coaching or knowledge of the locker room, of trust the coach?
Really difficult decision here.
I'm waiting to buy mine till they decide where the Wal-Mart is going. Not at all, I always trust geniuses. Why, just the other day, I actually purchased an acre on the moon. The actual moon! It's genius!

The regentrified area.Sun side or dark side?
Sun side or dark side?
Earth-facing side. The internet on the other side is supposedly not as good.
Searcy also had a big fumble. We didn't lose to USF because of Marshall or our offense. Defense sucked and we gave up 2 straight KO return TDs
Duke DL > VT DLTBH I'm starting to think that the biggest difference is that the OL was better at blocking the simplified offense under Oliver, whereas all it took was one öööö up to kill a drive when running the more complicated offense under Marshall. Our offense was EXTREMELY basic against VT - we literally just destroyed them at the LOS play after play after play. There was very little misdirection or trickery involved, so the joke's on the OP because there was no gimmick.
Pittsburgh just rushed for 484 yards on that Duke DL. Duke DL may be better than VT's, but that's not enough to explain what happened.Duke DL > VT DL

Oliver was quoted in AJC on Friday, that if TM was healthy, he expected him to be the starter.

I'm not sure what you mean by loading the box but they definitely loaded the box. [mom joke goes here]This is a good point. The fact that they weren't physically superior to us allowed us to run a simple scheme and just manhandle them. They readily admit it too. https://www.roanoke.com/hokies/how-...cle_5146d97e-d906-11e8-9a3a-17c04dc9f944.html
What surprises me is that they didn't force us to try an pass by loading the box. I thought they would be better at making adjustments.

They did? They had 4 guys on the line most every play of the 3rd quarter.I'm not sure what you mean by loading the box but they definitely loaded the box. [mom joke goes here]
