Inexcusable

Not firing the coach will cost millions. I spoke to multiple people yesterday who are dropping some or all of their tickets for next year. The repeat theme was “I can’t even give tickets away, so why bother buying them?”

This staff is done. There’s no coming back.
Then fire him. If that’s what the AD does I’ll fully support it. I just don’t put a lot of stock in what people say when they are emotional after a big loss.

Every reply from you involves a checkbook. Get some original material, that actually means something, or stop adding to your post count with the same trite replies. None of us on this message board are writing a 14M check. We get it. Jesus Christ you are repetitive.
Well, if you truly want him fired, you really need to get the funds to do it. Just saying something loudly while stamping your feet and throwing a hissy doesn't fund a buyout.

Here’s why I don’t care what this douche thinks:

Especially when those folks don't have a plan other than "fire staff". Of we were the University of Texas, it wouldn't be a problem. GT is like the homeowner who is mortgaged to the eyeballs, but is gonna put in that in ground swimming pool because the rich neighbors down the street have one, paying no mind to if he can afford it or not

I have been saying for a while a coach should get 4 years to get his kids in here but I'm not sure I or the paltry GT fanbase can last another year of this ill prepared staff. If there was just a glimpse of improvement I would say wait another year, but that could put our program in more jeopardy than it already is. I believe Ga State has now surpassed us as the next best team in the state and that is remarkably embarrassing.

I will still buy tickets same as I always have.

And Georgia State has not surpassed us in anything.

Everyone focused on the main part of the graphic but I found the empty stands in the background to be a added bonus. G*** C*** is saying WTF are you people doing here? We’re gonna get our ass kicked today and I’m gonna report in my post-game press conference that the locker room is hurting, we will watch the game tape & we need to do better.

You aren't even attending games, are you?

I got an email within the past week asking for money. In the email, they point out that in 2017 the football team had 28 members on staff and today they have 40. That’s a 43% increase. Anyone that doesn’t think CPJ was winning while coaching with 1 hand tied behind his back is letting their dislike of him cloud their objectivity. Give me CPJ’s mediocrity any day. His worst year for the entire time was as good as CGC’s best year since he’s been here.

Good morning Princess. FYI I’ve been at every single home game. Was one of only 500 GT fans left at the end of the BC game. I used to travel to away games but when my son asked me about a couple of excursions this year I replied öööö no! I really wanted to go to Notre Dame again because weather really screwed up our flights into Chicago last time & we completely lost Friday, but this lover of yours makes me want to puke. I’m only still attending games to see my friends & I feel sorry for the players that have bought into G*** C*** bullshit.

Well guess what, bitch, there were 4 of us at the end of the BC game.

There is a high chance you might die of a fatal case of being a little bitch.

Dude, I get it. Your optimism and support should be commended. You choose to affiliate yourself with Tech, and those are the best kind of fans when they stick with the team through it all. You can continue to support the team and still acknowledge that this staff is done/should be done. The anger that some folks have is justified and just as much in support of the team as your unwavering belief that Collins can turn things around.

Good lord, I supported both coaches but it was time for Johnson to hang it up. He’d lost a lot of the fight that made him successful.
It’s likely time for Collins to go. If he turns in a 5 win season next year and is retained with a small contract extension that will signal once again GT does not care.
There was a different dynamic with CPJ’s departure. It was the feeling you had after running a marathon where you just don’t have much energy left. As much as you liked it, you were grateful it was over. Obviously not speaking for the GT fans whose manhood was marginalized by running the 3O. Here the dynamic is rage. We have a talented roster, arguably one of the most talented in a decade, but the coaching staff is historically incompetent. GT fans will tolerate getting beat by better athletes, being mutt dumb is a sin of monumental proportions. G*** C*** suffers from the latter. He’s dumber than Jim Donnan And half as competent.

Unfortunately I have found the same. Multiple people who are 10+ year season ticket holders and are definitely not what I thought of as fairweather fans.

No doubt there is a group of people who will continue to buy season tickets. But that group is getting smaller by the game, and that fact won't be changed by bitching about how USC has better fans than us anymore than bitching about Collins will change the size of his buyout.

We are in a bad situation.
