Inexcusable

I have been one of CGC's biggest fans and of the mindset that he should and will get another year. I didn't anticipate losing all 4 winnable games and I figured we would lose a ho-hum 38-17 to ND. He has put everyone involved in a tough spot. Can we force a Scott Frost deal? He isn't that highly paid to begin with, so it's hard to see any room for that. I dunno. Will coordinator changes and a PR blitz be enough? I dunno.

Unfortunately I have found the same. Multiple people who are 10+ year season ticket holders and are definitely not what I thought of as fairweather fans.

No doubt there is a group of people who will continue to buy season tickets. But that group is getting smaller by the game, and that fact won't be changed by bitching about how USC has better fans than us anymore than bitching about Collins will change the size of his buyout.

We are in a bad situation.
My group has been together now for over 40 years. Some of us have moved to different sections which happened due to the reseating debacle, then several of us upgraded to premium areas as our lives changed for the better, etc but we all gather together. 2018 we could count on 4-5 dozen to appear each week as some cannot manage their professional schedules as they want. It slimmed a bit in 2019 because of G** C**’s idiotic comments about the past regime. 2020 we got the Rona, but when stuff opened back up this year we lost about half. It wasn’t Rona related, but malaise over our program. They just hate the man, his idiotic hype, etc. Worse yet, many of who are left are saying things like “see you when he’s gone” starting after the Pitt game, but his a fever pitch after the BC game. We sat together for about 2 hrs after BC and seriously I believe 50% are not coming back next year. I’m one of the few non-40 yr season ticket holders because I was in the military, but I’m coming up on 15 now. If I didn’t like my section as much, I’d probably pitch them and wait until this imbecile is shown the door. I’m gonna hang more because I don’t want to move again, but it’s not because of support for this imbecile and his incompetent staff.

Dude, I get it. Your optimism and support should be commended. You choose to affiliate yourself with Tech, and those are the best kind of fans when they stick with the team through it all. You can continue to support the team and still acknowledge that this staff is done/should be done. The anger that some folks have is justified and just as much in support of the team as your unwavering belief that Collins can turn things around.
I will acknowledge the staff is done when we have a new staff. Until then, I support our staff and team and expect them to bust ass prepping for the mutts this week. I fully expect to be sitting with a big smile on my face watching the defeated mutt fans stream from BDS at some point in the mid 4th quarter.

You are a good guy. I was like that before yesterday's game, telling everyone I talked to that we had a really good shot and that we were better than everyone realized

Unfortunately, by the end of the second quarter I had finally been completely knocked off of the juice train, and I'm not climbing back on just to be knocked off by a bunch of idiots who bark like dogs in public.

Commendable. But surely, you can see that the defense is getting worse by the week. I can’t shake the talk about Collins’ practice methods and thinking that it is a major cause the defense can’t track a WR or know their assignments. Multiple plays every game are breakdowns leading to easy scores for the other team.

I could stomach the losing a lot more if I could see signs that the team is being coached well and improving.

Here’s hoping that the team can rally and put on a good performance next week!

The long run by the backup QB showed me how slow our DB's are. Apparently, weighing 215 lbs back there may be worse than weighing 205.

I did the same. I expected us to hang with them and either pull off a close monumental upset or wear our in the 4th and have a collapse but respectable showing. I did not expect the Ringling Bros. Clowns.

This is what happens when poor leadership meets high pressure. Trust breaks down amongst the organization and people start trying to protect themselves and everyone makes the situation worse.

I agree we cannot fire the coach. However asst coaches need some changes. I think we hire cuz from the southern missionary conference in his second year. Maybe cuz is better than we think. Maybe we can also make it a cost saving plan but something has to change and Stansbury has all the leverage in forcing an assistant coaching change.

Well guess what, bitch, there were 4 of us at the end of the BC game.

There is a high chance you might die of a fatal case of being a little bitch.
You’re precious Princess.
