It was less her and more our fans, or some posing as our fans, trolling.

I didn't see whatever it was that someone thinks she did. She seemed always positive and 100% behind her son. Never called out any staff.

Good take. Once a player gets his mom or dad involved with playing time or whatever else they perceive to be a problem, it's pretty well over!

Every fan base does indeed have idiots. I just hope no one who cares enough about GT football to post on a message board would be one of those said idiots arguing with a player or player's family. I can think of absolutely nothing good for the program that would come from it. BTW I am not saying that you particularly would do so.

DL is the weakest from both a talent and depth perspective on a ööööty defense. There was no margin for error to put life back into it; hence, Geoff putting himself on the line there in order to save his career.

Smith + Griffin at least gets you in the ball park to what you had with Gibbs.

by what? More competitive balance in the NFL, much better games. Consistently better officiating.

I guess college has the nostalgia factor over the NFL. Or if you enjoy blowouts a lot of the time.

The more Tech loses and the more UGA wins the better the NFL gets.
 
My friend who told me Ivey was going to Ole Miss just told me that Marco Coleman may be "going north". If that is true, maybe that had something to do with Ivey leaving too. More rats leaving the sinking ship.
 
After typing the above, I see there is a separate thread in StingTalk confirming the possibility of Coleman leaving. And it's Mich State who wants him.

Ship sunk a long time ago, but TStan thinks the captain can turn it into a submarine. I’m not sure it is possible for an AD to be more wrong.

People trying to act like this hasn’t happened & all is just peachy in Whoville are just delusional. There’s signs all around of the damage that’s being inflicted to the program. The few times other fans even refer to us anymore it’s just pity, mocking our program/current staff or an amazed/quizzical “WTF is going on down there” statement. Got some real ostriches on here. Besides those folks & the rare few hardcore fans like us, GT doesn’t have any fanbase left.
