Bad thing is, a team could integrate some 3-O concepts into their offense and own college football. You could come out, run 5-6 3-O plays, go back into a shotgun offense, really change it around. A good 3-O isn't really a specific play call. QB puts ball in belly, reads defense, if he pulls he can keep or pitch. Throw in speed option and a few counters and you have a few plays added to the repertoire. If I coached a team and had a QB I put in for wildcat situations, I'd 3-O

I’m thinking that the hire would work out fine for GT. Not a team we play so if he works out it hurts UGAg and not us. If he doesn’t work out and all the talking morons hating the option are right then GT recruiting gets easier. Everyone should hope they hire him.

Johnson's tenure at GT was a joke,

the joke is you’re still a Chan man after all these years. You cried when he was fired. Pathetic.
I’ll never understand clowns like you that denigrate the accomplishments he did have because you didn’t like the offense or your feelings were hurt when Chan was canned.

I hope that Collins is wildly successful at GT. Early returns suggest that he’s gonna need a massive upgrade in assistants in order to do so (hint: you’ll need to donate some $$$). His game day management leaves lots to be desired thus far.
