Yep. He made some pretty bad mistakes early, but clearly learned from them and wasn’t afraid of the moment at all.

Sims could have folded up after those mistakes, but he kept has poise. Hellava job for a true freshman.
 
Sure, there were some mistakes. 1-0! I'm excited to see this team grow. Getting the W is huge in a gritty away game. You can definitely see the efforts in the off-season have paid off. The mistakes are definitely fixable. Jeff can certainly sling it and tote it. A new era is certainly upon us!
 
I don’t like the 3rd and shorts out of the gun, but it is what it is.
Passing game was much better than last year. Running game had some real slow developing plays but we eventually started making some headway.
Hopefully he keeps it up. I’m still not sold on Pnode, but I want to believe.

I didn't like the numerous inside runs on 2nd and long.
 
Apparently, their freshman QB recruit is "a lot better than" Simms but was injured in practice. He's from Arizona so doubtful
